One weekday afternoon, work in the office was called off for the day due to heavy rains. Then later on, the sun pleasantly surprised us with an appearance. So it was the perfect time to head over once again to the Scout/ Tomas Morato area in Quezon City. There was a new burger place in the well-known foodie area called Size Matters. And not just a plain old burger place but is specializing in sausage burgers.
One downside to the location is that it's on the 3rd level of the 186 Building along Tomas Morato so unless one goes to Size Matters purposefully, it's not very visible to possible walk-in customers.
The space is narrow but elongated and what stands out in the decor are the boards filled with pictures of diners who've tried out Size Matters (we even saw a friend in one of the photos).
Notwithstanding the small space, what really matters in a joint like this is the food. Here's a shot of their menu (click to enlarge)
From its name, Size Matters is best known for their 12 inch sausages. We ordered only the 6 inch schublig sausage (P125) and the Italian Burger Job (P179), another one of their bestsellers. And we had some jalapeno cheese spuds (P70) to go along with our buns, and iced tea which we got for free courtesy of Click The City (click here for the freebie).
The burger was perfection---from the juicy patty to the bread and the fillings. And from a couple of bites I've had of the schublig, it was really good as well. I'd say, certainly worth the price for a burger and a sausage. :) And here are photos of me at the outdoor veranda, where there's also a dining area for Size Matters patrons.
Cheers! :)
